Gamble paid off! Application testing for PID355 has not turned up any major problems. Everything is on schedule for the delivery point of next Tuesday. I’m happy with the coverage that my very new test team has provided. JR gets the credit for ramping the team up so quickly.
There are concerns over how we will support the site once it’s in the customer’s hands. My felling is that since it’s a beta release, we just supply 9-5gmt support. We’ll see if that’s acceptable.
I also hosted a demonstration to the sales staff. Over all, very positive. They were impressed with the look and feel of the system. They also saw how complicated it is. We may have some training issues. Must review next week.
